Adoptable Birds

Click on the picture or the name to see the individual page for each bird. If you would like to adopt a bird, please see the ADOPT page for information on what to do next. We have many more birds than are listed here. If you are interested in a specific type of bird, please fill out an adoption form so specifying, and we will be in touch with you to discuss available birds.
    • Bello

Bello is a very pretty Nanday Conure.  Thought to be female until recently DNA tested, HE hasn't been with his foster family very long so they are getting to know him and will have more information soon.

Bello's adoption fee is $225 and he will come with his very nice cage!

    • Amie

Aimee is an "experienced" female Indian Ringneck of unknown age, and she is quite a little lady! Though we don't know as much about her background as we would like, it's clear that once upon a time she was a beloved pet. Of late, however, she was left to her own devices in a cage, but after only a day of working with her she is stepping up for her foster family with only a small protest, and she gives kisses! Such a sweetie, she really wants to be your new best friend! Aimee is a great little eater, enjoys oranges and apples, bananas and pasta, along with peas and carrots; she also eats some seeds along with her pelleted diet. Aimee can be vocal, as most birds in the parakeet family are, but she quiets down immediately when asked. Way to go girl! Aimee's adoption includes a very nice playtop cage she seems to like quite well. Her Adoption Fee is $175.00

    • Jade

Jade is a young military macaw who was a bit of a "wild child" when she came into the program. She is continuing to learn how to trust hands, people and new environments in her new foster home. Jade has a good appetite and does well on a diet of fruits, vegetable, nuts and a macaw mix with nuts in shell and dried fruit. She seems to prefer women, but that may be based primarily on previous exposure. Jade wants to please, but doesn't know yet exactly how to go about it (she's learning that, too!) and she will need someone who knows macaws are more bluff than tough and has the patience and understanding to bring out her inner bird.
