Chirps

Chirps is a Congo African Grey. She may take a few days to warm up to a new family, but once she does, she will entertain by talking up a storm! She has a great vocabulary and says phrases such as "Whoop, daddy, whoop", "it's okay", "Hi chirp", "hey girlfriend", "stop", "no bark", and a lot more. She also mimics every sound that she hears and one of her favorite games is when you repeat the sounds that she makes. Chirps is a shoulder bird and loves to hang out on your shoulder as often as you will let her. Her favorite treat is dry cereal and sunflower seeds, and peanuts (unsalted of course). She will "bow" her head and that is your sign to tell her that she is a good girl and reward her with a good neck scratching.

Chirps can get distracted by her own feathers if she doesn't have something to play with so keeping her engaged in frequent activity and play seems to help. She is a silly bird and loves to get her humans laughing. One of her favorite things to chew on are lids from a bottle of water. She will nod excitedly when you offer her your lid.
Chirp's adoption fee of $400 will include her cage.
