Kana

KANA is a sweet, loving female umbrella cockatoo, approximately 13 years old, who enjoys spending considerable time out of her cage every day. She sings, dances, and knows a few key phrases to win your heart (“pretty bird,” “I am a pretty bird,” “love you!”). She likes to ring bells, and she responds when you call her, typically by coming down from her perch. She has lived in the same household with a dog, but one must always exercise caution. Kana is a bit of an eclectic eater and in addition to a good mix of seed and pellets will enjoy nuts, boiled egg, peanuts and carrots. She is also fond of mandarin oranges (sparingly, please!). Her adoption fee is $500, which includes a size-appropriate cage and her play stand.
