Jake

Jake is a delightful DNA-sexed female severe macaw 24 years young. She talks a blue streak and loves to spend times with her humans. Aside from being a wonderful companion, Jake also is a great eater who appreciates your willingness to share mealtime with her, and she is learning to play with toys. She also quite likes a bath, and she's getting lots of them! Jake is also quite comfortable with other pets in the house, including a dog and other birds. She has a bit of a feather issue, but her fosters are working on that and enjoying significant success. We expect she will be fully feathered within the next several months, but even now for what she lacks in perfect feather quality she more than makes up for in her outstanding personality. Jake has been vet checked and is cleared for takeoff, so to speak. Her adoption fee is $400, including a size-appropriate cage.
