JoJo

JoJo, f/k/a Whoa Joe, is a female blue and gold macaw, in her mid-twenties, who surprised her previous owners with an egg one fine day recently; hence, the name change. She is an experienced pet, with lots of love to give, very sweet and tame and well socialized. She already steps up in her new home, so long as you go slowly with her so she can savor the moment. And, she has an excellent appetite. She loves fruit, nuts, berries, melon and vegetables of all types. She has been vet-checked and is being readied for take-off. In the meantime, JoJo--who lost her owner of over 20 years and then her favorite pet friend, and another significant other of the human variety, all in less than six months--is receiving lots of love and attention with a large and highly attentive foster family. JoJo's adoption fee is pending, but is expected to be in the $450 - $500 range, and will include a size-appropriate cage.
